About Hobbs Tuscany Silk Quilt Batting King Size
King size 120" x 120". 90% Silk/10% Polyester Resin bonded. Tuscany Silk is made from a very fine, pure importer silk. It is then carded and resin bonded to help retard bearding (fiber migration) and allowing it to handle like a blanket. Quilt up to 4in apart. Silk quilts magnificently by hand or machine. Hand wash in tepid water and lay flat to dry. 5% shrinkage. Because of silk's natural ability to breath, it is an excellent choice for airy, lightweight quilts and coverlets. It also makes a superb filling material for embroidery.
