About Herdmar Portofino Stainless Flatware
Portofino Copper is a transitional design pattern with an all-over Copper matte brushed finish, including the knife blade. The handle is a curved shape, with a rounded end; the handles of the forks and spoon are elongated, making them almost as long as the table knife, for a very unique look. Every piece is dishwasher safe. Both the place spoon and teaspoon are large sized, and the dinner knife has a solid handle and serrated cutting edge. Each piece except the knife is hallmarked "Herd mar 18/10 Portugal" on the back of the handle; the knife is marked Herd mar on the blade. Herd mar manufactures high quality flatware since 1911 in Guitars, Portugal, home of that country's fine metals businesses for centuries. A family-owned company, they use only the best quality 18/10 stainless steel for their flatware, which gives each piece a luxurious shine, and makes it easy-care and very durable.
