About Herdmar Portofino Flatware Placesetting, Mirror
Portofino is a transitional design pattern with a high shine mirror finish. The handle is a curved shape, with a rounded end; the handles of the forks and spoon are elongated, making them almost as long as the table knife, for a very unique look. Every piece is dishwasher safe. Both the place spoon and teaspoon are large sized, and the dinner knife has a solid handle and serrated cutting edge. Each piece except the knife is hallmarked "Herd mar 18/10 Portugal" on the back of the handle; the knife is marked Herd mar on the blade. Herd mar manufactures high quality flatware since 1911 in Guitars, Portugal, home of that country's fine metals businesses for centuries.
