The single function switch interrupts compressor function if system pressure becomes too high. The dual function switch first engages the high-speed cooling fan in an attempt to lower pressure by increasing heat transfer at the condenser. However, if system pressure continues to rise after the fan has been engaged, then the switch will interrupt compressor operation. 7) Holding the clutch hub with a suitable tool while the bolt or nut is removed. 8) Removing the clutch plate and hub using a puller. 9) Searching related installation video on the internet will be highly recommended.
