About Headset Buddy External Dynamic Mic
Use an External Battery-Operated Dynamic Mic to Record Audio on your iPhone, Smartphone Male 3.5mm TRRS to Female 3.5mm Microphone Jack How it Works: Plug the adapter into the iPhone/smartphone (or other device) headset jack and then plug your microphone into the adapter. The iPhone will recognize that an external mic is connected and turn its internal mic off allowing you to record using the external microphone. This adapter works with all audio/video recording apps and other functions just as the internal mic would. PLEASE NOTE: This adapter is for mics that have batteries. Please see our 01-iPhone-Mic-ECM adapter for PC mics or mics without batteries. Also, sound input for smartphone connections is mono. You are able to input stereo sound; however, only one side of the microphone will work.
