About Harvard Chemical 6950 Thoroughbred Premium Acrylic
Harvard Chemical Research Thoroughbred is an acrylic floor finish, designed to beautify and protect resilient and non-resilient floors. Thoroughbred was designed to be used in a high speed maintenance program. Excellent depth of gloss, outstanding leveling, and ease of application will make this your go-to floor finish. Slip resistance meets or exceeds (ASTM D 2047-93) James Machine 0.5 minimum. A modern combination of acrylic copolymers metal cross linked to resist detergents and the scuffing of floors. It is fast laying, quick drying, and its initial gloss is excellent for use in schools, hospitals, or other high traffic areas where high or low speed buffing without powdering is desired. Synthetic detergents and emulsifiers have little effect on this product's gloss and durability. Surfaces coated with this finish will shine even after repeated abuse. This product will safely and completely outperform most hard polymer finishes in our line. Damp mopping and cleaning as well as the removal of greasy soils are a breeze when done over Thoroughbred coatings. Instructions: for best results apply full strength over freshly stripped and rinsed floor. Apply first coat lightly, being more concerned with even coverage than quantity of finish applied. Allow approximately 15 to 20 minutes drying time between coats then apply a second coat a little heavier than the first. Repeat this procedure for up to 4 coats if necessary or desired. Please allow 24 hours cure time after last coat before high speed burnishing. Contains 25 percent solids. Low or high speed buffing. Non-corrosive, nontoxic. Resists scuffing and harsh detergents. Appearance: White hazy liquid with low odor. Specific gravity: 8.6. pH: 8 - 9. Biodegradable: Yes. Durability: excellent. Size: 1-gallon pail.
