Stephanie Satin shows a contemporary design reminiscent of Scandinavian modern. An ovoid shape defines the oversized spoon bowls as well as the curved fork tines, and the flat handles triangulate from a slender neck to a slightly blunt curve at the end. Long and graceful, the handles are brushed to a satin finish to complete the modern look. This is a pattern that adds style to everyday as well as special occasion dining. Four Stephanie Satin place settings are included in this 20-piece set, each comprised of a dinner knife, dinner fork, salad fork, soup spoon, and teaspoon. Hampton Forge forges the pieces of 18/0 stainless steel, which means the steel contains 18 percent chromium for strength yet no nickel to provide corrosion-resistance. As a result, though dishwasher-safe, the flatware should be promptly washed and dried whenever possible.
