About Hammers And Roses
A nearly 80,000 word crime thriller based in a small town. The killer is set on revenge against Detective Lieutenant Walter Logan, because of the results of a huge case that linked them in their past. The brutal killing begins and it is soon realized that some of the victims were closely linked to Detective Logan at one time. These terrifying killings are all being performed with, yup; you guessed it hammers; odd hammers. The roses come in after the fact, in an attempt to antagonize Walter, and they are usually accompanied by a cryptic poem that has the same provocative results. These poems mean nothing to Walter at first, until he eventually assembles the pieces in his mind. There are many other plot twists and surprises, including a new unwarranted love interest for Walter, the rest are left to your discovery. The brutality and sexuality is not too descriptive and is tastefully described.
