A hinged, 2-Piece sound shield opens and closes over the blender to reduce noise while blending. The base is designed to fit both the included 52 oz. Glass jar and the 20 oz. The 20 oz. Glass jar is not included.. Travel jar, giving you the flexibility to blend for one or the whole family. With 950 watts of power, 5 speeds and three programmed settings, including smoothie, you can do everything from mix salsas to puree soups. Stainless steel blades make quick work of crushing ice. A drip-free pour spout on the large jar reduces mess, and a travel lid for the smaller jar makes for easy on-the-go drinks. The blades and jars are both dishwasher safe
