GUMIGEM was created and designed by Jenny McLaughlan in 2010 to provide a modern solution to the age-old problem of teething. Inspired by her son and his painful teething experience Jenny thought it would be practical to always have a teether to hand. So she set about creating a range of stylish pieces of jewellery that looked great for mum, but would relieve baby teething troubles. These bangles are so simple, you wear them meaning you have them to hand, but are totally safe to slip off and hand to baby. The bangles can be used safely from birth, and are also great for the later stages of teething to help reach those pesky molars and relieve that teething pain. They also help build up jaw muscle tone and develop hand eye co-ordination. GUMIGEM is a UK based family run business aimed to provide mummy with a stylish accessory that baby can also entertain their hands and gums with. Made from 100% medical grade silicone (like what you would find a dummy teat, teething toy or baby spoon to be made of), so is soft and flexible. All our items are rigorously tested and you can have peace of mind that they are free from all nasty's. They are totally non-toxic, BPA, lead latex and phthalate free. GUMIGEM bangles can easily be washed by hand with warm, soapy water or placed in a steam steriliser or the top shelf of the dishwasher.
