Not anymore. Groomer’s Blend Flea and Tick Shampoo uses permethrin for maximum control of fleas and ticks, while also gently cleansing and exfoliating your dog’s skin and coat. The active ingredients in our topical 18.4 oz. bottle of Flea and Tick Dog Shampoo are proven to kill fleas and ticks on-contact. The naturally-derived cleansers gently remove dirt and debris to leave your dog looking and smelling great and the exfoliating properties help to shed old and dead skin cells. The dog shampoo is for use on dogs over 12 weeks old, is paraben- and soap-free, and pH balanced for your dog’s sensitive skin. Due to the active ingredients in this shampoo, it is not safe to use on cats. For best results, follow instructions on product packaging carefully. Wear rubber gloves when applying Flea and Tick Shampoo. When shampooing your dog, avoid eyes. Use a cloth or sponge to shampoo around your dog’s eyes. Thoroughly wet the entire coat with warm water and then apply enough shampoo to make a lather and work thoroughly into the coat. For maximum parasite control allow lather to remain in contact with skin for five to ten minutes before rinsing. Do not reapply product for 7 days.
