8-inch multipurpose Chef Knife with a blade handcrafted from rust-resistant German stainless steel (4116 HRC-57), which has a good balance of sharpness and durability for everyday use. Blade is sharpened to 15 degrees per side, for optimal sharpness and edge retention. ABS handle is designed to reinforce correct grip, and the steel tang extends deep into the handle to secure the blade while ensuring a balanced heft. Handle is molded with an expanded half-bolster to cushion fingers, and blade height gives proper knuckle room. We recommend handwashing with soap and water.
