The LTC4 US, 20 liter bath forms part of the Optima R4 range of refrigerated/heated circulating baths by Grant Instruments, designed for precision temperature control and maximum user flexibility over a wide temperature range. It comprises an advanced model Optima thermostatic controller (TXF150 US), an R4 refrigeration unit, with 20 liter tank capacity, and 2 x 3m of insulated hosing, with fixings kit, to facilitate connection to accessory equipment. This model is a high specification bath suitable for applications requiring complex programming and/or ultra precise temperature control. The Optima R4 range provides equipment/sample heating and refrigeration capabilities in a single unit - without the need for additional cooling accessories. Baths within this range provide superior temperature range, stability and uniformity compared to unstirred water bath ranges. The unit is robustly constructed and can be mounted on the floor or on a laboratory/work bench. A no-spill valved front drain tap is designed for quick, convenient emptying. The easily removable condenser cover provides easy access for cleaning and servicing.The high performance LTC4 US model can control and maintain temperatures between -30 and 100 degrees Celsius. The unit contains an integral stainless steel tank with 20 liter capacity for temperature control of immersed samples. The TX150 US thermostatic controller possesses a powerful integral pump enabling it to be used independently to regulate the temperature of an external piece of equipment using, the insulated hosing provided, for example; spectrophotometers, refractometers, jacketed vessels and rotary evaporators.
