The Grant Instruments BT5D-16L is a convenient digitally controlled dry block heating system for high temperature applications. It provides temperature control without the need for fluids and reduced the risk of contamination. It is ideally suited for applications in veterinary and chemical laboratories, in research and technology environments and for any application requiring heating in a dry system up to 400 degrees Celsius.This heating system has a very wide temperature range of ambient +10 to 400 degrees Celsius, with temperature stability of ±0.5 degrees Celsius (up to 300 degrees Celsius) and uniformity of 1%, high/low temperature alarms and an adjustable over temperature cut out for safety.The BT5D-16L is of a robust construction for long term durability and reliability. It has simple-to-use, digital controls and clear LED display for accurate and reproducible time and temperature setting. BT5D-16L has capacity for 38 x 16 mm diameter sample tubes. An alternative model is available for 26 mm diameter tubes (BT5D-26L, ASIN: B0090QXNCW). Additional features include: a timer (1-9999 min) and choice of timed or continuous operation.
