About GoodVac HEPA Filter For Rainbow E Series
High quality GoodVac HEPA filter for Rainbow vacuums. Will fit Rainbow vacuums that have "Snap In" filter covers. Plastic cover that holds this filter in the Rainbow housing does not attach to the main housing with screws. Rather it has 2 latches on the bottom and the cord caddy is attached to it. Replaces Rexair Rainbow part numbers R10520 and R12106B. This fits E series and E2 series one speed vacuums with snap-in filter covers. How to use: This filter should last you for few years as long as you use your vacuum for regular vacuuming. Do not vacuum plaster dust, ashes from your fireplace. Water will not be able to absorb high volume of this fine dust and it will be left to the HEPA filter to capture it which it will. However the filter will be clogged in a few seconds and you will have to replace it. Even though you could try washing it we would really recommend just getting a new HEPA. Washing the smallest dust particles out of microscopic filter pores is nearly impossible. It will not recover 100% airflow and, if the filter is very dirty, and after washing it does not dry properly it may even start stinking. High quality aftermarket part engineered by GoodVac.
