About Golight Radioray GL-2020 Remote Control Spotlight

The GL-2020 Golight Radioray from Larson Electronics is a 65 watt motorized spotlight that operates with a wired dash mount remote control. This model is available in white and is permanently mounted. The lamp is a 65 watt halogen Cr5 Pentabeam II bulb that produces 1 300 lumens of quality light output and has a 6000K color temperature giving it great color rendering and contrasting properties. It produces a long wide spot beam that provides 700 feet of coverage and has a 5 million candlepower rating. The wired dash mount remote control uses a joystick to control the position of the light and has dual speed control options. The joystick controls the motorized 135 degree tilt of the spotlight and motorized rotation of the light a full 370 degrees. The wired dash mount remote control has a 20 foot wiring harness that connects the light and remote together and splits to connect to the power source. The light is permanently mounted with four screws and a rubber gasket. The screws are included. The weather resistant housing is constructed of ASA Luran thermoplastic that is heat resistant impact resistant UV resistant and able to withstand rugged use and abusive conditions. Remote movement of the spotlight is provided by an automotive grade internal motor gear and transmission assembly constructed of LEXAN brass and stainless steel to provide rust and corrosion resistance as well as long life and reliable operation. This light meets marine standards for fresh and saltwater use and is designed for use in all weather conditions. This light operates with 12 volts DC and draws only 5.5 amps making it ideal for consumer vehicles boats ATVs and similar sources of 12 volt direct current.
