Golden Eagle Cutlery is manufactured in Their, France, the cutlery capital of France for the past 800+ years. Each blade is made from high carbon stainless with chromium, molybdenum and vanadium added to create a super tough edge that's very easy to sharpen. The unique steel chemistry, expert tempering, and a perfect edge grinding combine to provide a lasting, tough, corrosion resistant edge that will last for years and never chip. Golden Eagle Cutlery uses Bubingo (African Rosewood) scales for the handles, harvested from renewable forests.
