About Glosso Factory All In One Planted Aquarium
In a planted aquarium algae typically occurs not only from an excess of nutrients but also from an imbalance. Plants and Algae will fight a constant war over nutrients in the tank. Typically plants can store nutrients more efficiently than lower order algae can, so as long as the right balance of nutrients is supplied plants generally will win the battle for nutrients. This fertilizer is formulated to supply plants with the proper balance of macro and micronutrients by aiming to keep specific nutrients as the limiting factor for plant growth. N – 3.0%, P – 0.93%, K – 11.35%, Fe – 0.74%, Mg – 0.073%, Mn – 0.072%, Zn – 0.0215%, Cu – 0.0054%, Mo – 0.0019%, B – 0.0018%, Co – 0.00018% Normal Dosage: 1 pump per 10 gallons ∆ppm/1pump/10gallons: N + 7ppm P + 1.5ppm K + 6ppm For densely planted, mature, tanks with 30+ppm CO2, dose 5-7 times weekly For normal and newly planted tanks dose 3-5 times weekly For low tech planted tanks dose 2-3 times weekly Dose with regular water changes: Recommended 50% water change twice weekly. If algae growth occurs, increase water changes and or reduce dosage. These recommendations are general guidelines. We recommend easing into a dosage regiment and taking notes on how this fertilizer affects your tank. Many variables will affect plant growth in your tank and should be considered including: - Substrate type and age of substrate – Nutrient rich substrate ⇒ Reduce dosage - Strength of lighting and length of daylight – Stronger lighting ⇒ Increase dosage - CO2 injection and dissolved CO2 content – More CO2 ⇒ Increase Dosage - Frequency of water changes – More water changes ⇒ Increase Dosage
