The Giro Sutton Helmet is a no-nonsense helmet aimed for the commuter. The form and function is refreshingly simple and it does exactly with it's supposed to do: protect your head. The Sutton does pack some features that benefit the commuter and the large variety of colors ensure it'll look good with whatever you wear on your commute without looking like a racerboy or girl. On the rear, its two reinforced vents provide a spot to pass a U-lock through and lock it to your bike. The straps feature reflective elements that extend to the brim of the removable soft rain and sun visor. A clip on the rear makes attaching a bike light easy and places it at a level that is more noticeable to drivers. Of course Giro is a performance company at heart and the Sutton has the culmination of 30 plus years of DNA running through its veins so safety and fit are always paramount. You'll never want to use a helmet for it's intended purpose, but if you do, Giro will keep you as safe as they know how. Otherwise, you'll have a helmet that looks great and has nice well-thought out features.
