About Ghosts In The Valley - The Return: Ghost Lore Of
Ghosts in the Valley, the Return, has in a sense, been twenty years in the making. It represents what has occurred and what we have collected and experienced in that span of time. The book updates the original stories, which are all included here and adds so many more legends as well as additional personal experiences of those who shared their stories for the project. Its focus is primarily on the Muskingum Valley and its tributaries in Southeastern Ohio. The area is rich in tradition and history and remains mostly small town and rural today. This publication is unique in that it contains some very early traditional stories but also many personal stories collected from a wide range of individuals who experienced the phenomena for themselves and shared their stories for this work. Included are our own experiences and investigations that take us far beyond “the Valley”. Our trips to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, provided additional material, including a record of some paranormal investigations there. Finally a few stories are shared from our travels and investigation logs, including a night of over forty E.V.P.’s. Ghosts in the Valley, the Return, takes you into a world of legend, tradition and personal experience that is the mystery of the paranormal. 198 pages, illustrated.
