The General Tools and Instruments DAF80PW Digital Plastic Vane Anemometer features a microprocessor circuit that assures maximum possible accuracy, along with providing special functions and features. Wide applications for this anemometer to check air conditioning and heating systems, measure air velocities, wind speeds, and temperature. The portable anemometer provides fast, accurate readings, with digital readability and the convenience of a remote vane probe that is separate. Dual temperature display unit shows both Fahrenheit and Celsius. Low-friction ball vane wheel is accurate in both high and low air speed velocities. Temperature is measured using a thermistor sensor and shows a faster response time. Large LCD screen displays the air velocity and the temperature value simultaneously. Records both maximum and minimum reading with memory recall and also features data hold. Auto shut-off saves battery life; RS 232 PC serial interface. Operates from 006P DC 9V battery and includes a strong, lightweight ABS-plastic housing case. This industrial tool comes with an instruction manual, a vane probe and a carrying case.
