The Preon is our flagship every day carry flashlight. The third generation P2 delivers bright light with superior color reproduction in a compact and convenient form factor. How does the P2 differ from the P1 flashlight? Twice as many lumens (210!) with the same high CRI (92+) in a longer body. Get more bang for your buck! The P2 enables you to see clearly with a high color rendering LED. Cheap lights distort your subject with high lumens and a low color spectrum. Our innovative flashlights are engineered to provide you with bright light that is nearly as accurate as the noon sun. The Preon P2 has six configurable modes for all your needs. Config. 1: High - (Burst 100%) Config. 2: Max (100%) - Strobe Config. 3: Medium - High - (Burst) Config. 4: Low - Medium - High - (Burst) Config. 5: High - Medium - Low - (Burst) Config. 6: Low - Med - High - Strobe - SOS - Beacon - (Burst) Brightness Levels Low: 1 lumen / 90 hours Medium: 30 lumens / 5 hours High: 125 lumens / 1.1 hours Max: 210 lumens / 1 hour Burst: 210 lumens / 1 hour BURST MODE: This feature allows you to access maximum output at any time without scrolling through other modes. You can get maximum output when you need it, but conserve battery life by using the standard high mode for normal use. Burst mode is activated with two fast off/on cycles. Burst is active for 30 seconds and then ramps down to high mode over the following 30 seconds. This prevents the light from overheating and damaging the internal components. BATTERY TYPE: USE AAA Lithium (disposable) or NiMH (rechargeable). We recommend ENELOOP or GP ReCyko+ rechargeables. DO NOT USE LITHIUM ION OR ALKALINE BATTERIES.
