The Forney 49712 keystock plated cold rolled, 1/4-inch(6.35 mm)-by-1-foot(.3 m) grade 2 steel plated/hardened. Made of 1018 grade mild steel carbon steel used world-wide as it is easily machined, welded and fabricated. Minimum yield strength of 53,700 psi and ultimate tensile strength of 63,800 psi.
