Designed to optimize the quality of your recordings the 18i8 operates at resolutions up to 24-bit/192 kHz and tracks instruments with increased headroom and minimal distortion. It features two balanced monitor outputs plus two volume-controllable headphone outputs and MIDI and S/PDF I/O. Additionally, it offers eight analogue inputs, including four Scarlett mic preamps with plenty of even gain, two instrument inputs and expands up to eight additional analogue inputs via ADAT. The Scarlett combination inputs allow you to plug in ¼” instruments of XLR sound sources and support 48V phantom power. Perform and produce using effects in real time with a super-low latency of 2.74ms at 96kHz and use Focusrite Control software to easily configure your monitoring and routing setups. Scarlett 18i8 comes with Pro Tools | First Focusrite Creative Pack in the box, as well as Ableton Live Lite and a suite of software and samples, so you can start recording straight away. Constructed with every recorder in mind, the 18i8 features metal gain controls and a red metal chassis for safe and easy transport to practice and sessions.
