Florida Marine Research Naturals fine calciferous sand for reptiles is ideal for chameleons, tortoises, lizards, snakes, arachnids or insects that come from an arid environment. Its non-toxic natural vegetable based coating makes perfect decor for your pets terrarium. The naturally spherical grains wont scratch your pets inside or out. There are no artificial dyes or chemicals. Though not intended as a food source or supplement calci-sand is 100-percent edible and easily digestible which allows reptiles to ingest necessary calcium for proper bone development and reducing the risk of impaction. It is also safe for use in direct contact with heat and has neither the added benefit of not harboring mites nor the growth of mold or fungi. Calci-sand makes spot cleaning a breeze as it readily clumps wet waste material drying it and preventing it from being spread. Available in green color. This product weighs 1-pound.
