About Firehouse Dark Moustache Wax –Strong, High Hold
Tame, Train & Style Facial Hair All-day in any Kind of Weather Firehouse Moustache Wax was founded by John the Fireman after he experimented making a mustache/beard wax that could withstand the rigors of his jobs (as a fireman and farrier) as well as the heat, humidity & wind of Mississippi, along with the damp and cold. Whether you are trying to hold a certain shape or control unruly hairs, this wax is easy to apply and will not run. It’s the perfect addition to your mustache/beard shaping kit! HOW TO APPLY Please note the wax is not a mustache paste nor a beard soft wax like other men’s beard care products. This is a real high hold mustache/beard wax and therefore is stiff, thus the excellent hold. The wax isn’t hard to apply but may take a little getting used to if you’re used to softer products. Make sure wax is warm and dry before application. You may put it over a warm vent/on top of the coffee pot, run the (closed) tin under hot water, or use a hairdryer. If water gets in the tin just shake it out/blot with a towel. Your fingers and facial hair also need to be dry, or the wax won’t go on smoothly. Others like using the following to work the wax thru the 'stache after applying: toothbrush, boar's hair brush, or moustache comb. PUSH (not scrape) wax up on the fingernail of your index finger, wipe it onto your thumb of the same hand, and then rub it back and forth 2-3 times. Some customers prefer using different objects to push up the wax before putting on fingers. Apply using your index finger and/or with thumb for greater control. If you warm the wax up in the tin, no need to rub the wax back and forth between your fingers, otherwise it will actually create the opposite effect of cooling off the wax and might crumble/ball and not go on smoothly.
