About Fibreglass Evercoat 632 Everglass Short Strand
Evercoat Everglass is a short strand multi-fiber reinforced body repair filler ideal for use on metal for finishing welded seams, rusted metal repairs, fiberglass repair and filling holes in SMC and shattered fiberglass. This body filler for car contains ZNX-7 for superior adhesion and corrosion resistance to bare steel, galvanized steel and aluminum. This Evercoat body filler also includes blue cream hardener. For best results, clean and degrease the entire panel to be repaired with soap and water, followed by a mild cleaning solvent. Surface must be thoroughly dry before repairing or applying material. Keep the repair area small. Use 40-80 grit to remove the paint and featheredge. Stir the filler before using. Knead the cream hardener. Measure hardener 2% by weight (add a ribbon of cream hardener from edge to edge across the center of a 4” diameter puddle). Puddles larger than 4” (10 cm) in diameter will require additional hardener. Mix thoroughly until uniform color is achieved. Approximate setting time is 5-6 minutes at 72°F-80°F (22°C). Apply in layers with even firm pressure. Do not apply all at once. Sand filler with 80 grit sandpaper. If necessary, reapply additional coats, or apply a finish coat of any Evercoat lightweight filler or polyester putty. Evercoat leads the industry in the use of “green” technology.
