The URBAN Composter - Australia's version of a Bokashi small container composting system. This is a great unit to produce your own liquid fertilizer. Will work best with the use of their own URBAN EM compost accelerator spray. Both size come with very tight fitting lids (there is no smell and therefore no flies). The small unit is: 2.1 gal capacity: 10" dia. x 10.5" high; weight 1.6 lbs. URBAN Compost Accelerator is a liquid concentrate of broad spectrum beneficial bacteria which work together to convert organic material into humus. This accelerator significantly speeds up the composting breakdown process. It works well in low oxygen and anaerobic environments. Made from: Dynamic fermented fruit extract - EM-1 Effective Microbes: lactobacillus, yeast, probiotics, antioxidants; also includes selected cultures for cellulose and fat consumption. This is a certified organic liquid. Made in Australia to go with the URBAN compost buckets: 17 fl.oz. Spray Bottle. Bokashi, a Japanese word for a fermented organic matter, is a tried and true process for faster-than-normal anaerobic composting of all kitchen waste, including meat and dairy products, into a soil builder and nutrient-rich organic "tea" for your plants and vegetables. The concentrated liquid fertilizer is drained off with a convenient spigot and, when finished, the much-reduced contents can be buried in the garden, flower bed, or compost bin.
