Domestic Violence nurtures victims that literally will not leave the abuse until they see a problem. The tragedy is that the first thing to go is the eyes. For those that marry into it, it is often a personal choice as it makes the relationship easier to understand when you don’t look too closely. Choosing to not see the warning signs of Domestic Violence may seem sensible, nonjudgmental, even forgiving in the beginning, but it quickly becomes the binding that keeps you trapped. It will keep your children from knowing what a loving and healthy family can be like, and sets them up to nurture or perpetrate violence of their own for generations to come. If your partner or family member hurts you or frightens you, even one time, know that this should not be ignored. If they have hurt or frightened you two times or more, then, take note: THIS BOOK WAS WRITTEN FOR YOU.
