The Enerpac MP-1000 multi-fluid hand pump has a handle, requires an external reservoir (sold separately), accepts different fluids, and is suitable for filling and testing hydraulic aircraft systems such as shock absorbers, testing a pressure vessel, or operating a single-acting hydraulic tool or cylinder. The pump has an impregnated aluminum housing and internal stainless steel components for corrosion resistance and is suitable for use with demineralized water, oil/water emulsions, water-glycols, mineral oils, or other fluids. Nitrile rubber seals resist oils and solvents and help prevent leaks. EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) seals (sold separately) can be installed for pumping brake fluid or fire-resistant aviation hydraulic fluid. The pump has two speeds for pumping efficiency and optimal flow. The handle displaces 3.2 cu. in. of fluid per stroke at 500 psi (pounds per square inch) or 0.12 cu. in. per stroke at 14,500 psi. An externally adjustable relief valve can be used to prevent overloading. The gasket can be used to attach an external fluid reservoir (sold separately). The 1/4" gauge port accepts a gauge (sold separately) for monitoring the hydraulic pressure. The port has NPTF (National Pipe Taper Fuel) threading to prevent leaks. This hydraulic pump weighs 14.5 lb. and has a maximum operating pressure of 14,500 psi. Enerpac manufactures high-pressure tools and equipment for industrial applications. The company, founded in 1910, is headquartered in Menomonee Falls, WI.
