"Tatami" is Japanese traditional flooring that has been attracting people across the world who have once visited Japan and experienced its comfortness and smooth texture. Yet the traditional Tatami mattress is thick, heavy, high-priced and you even need to have a special structure in your room itself for it to be fully equipped with. We made it compact-sized (you can fold it in four) and affordable prices which allow you feel a touch of Japan at your home. Our Igusa mattress provides you a comfort when you lay down on it and gives you a sense of you being in "ryokan" with the signature grassy scent the woven rush gives off. Enjoy the feeling of nature. There are also multiple usages : 1. You can use it as an underlay mattress of Futon which helps your Shikibuton breathe through the Igusa mattress and also work as a buffer in between your Shikibuton and the floor which will reduce the pressure against your body as well. 2. You can use it as a yoga mattress. As it slightly has a cushioning feature that prevents you from hurting your knees and body parts that you would hurt on the floor directly. 3. Just lay down on our Igusa mattress directly and you will have a great nap! It takes long processes to get this product finally on the market.
