About El Suavecito
Roberto is a hateful gigolo who makes life difficult for Lupe, his neighbor. He has just returned from Acapulco, where he exploited rich women and spent time in pool halls cheating anyone who let him. Lupe is being wooed by a taxi driver and Roberto bothers her even more. The driver has only the best intentions regarding Lupe and makes her see that Roberto is dishonest. Roberto hires some gangsters to beat up the taxi driver and blame him for a car theft they committed. When the driver is jailed, Roberto, contrite, tells the truth. The gangsters beat him to death. Lupe and the taxi driver live happily ever after.
