EISCO animal cell model is used for biological study. The model is 20,000x life size for detailed examination of cell structures, and includes the following organelles: nucleus, endoplasmatic reticulum, mitochondria, ribosomes, polysomes, and Golgi apparatus. The model also depicts centrioles, lysosomes, and fat vacuoles, and the extrusion of a Golgi vesicle and pinocytic signs. The model is numbered, and includes a key card for identification of features. The model is made of durable polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastic-coated fiberglass. PVC plastic is corrosion resistant, lightweight, and has high strength, resisting reactions with acids, gasoline, alcohol, and hydrocarbons. Fiberglass contains many extremely fine glass fibers in a plastic composite, and is commonly used for its strength, nonreactivity, and to insulate against sound, heat, and electricity. The model’s base measures approximately 500.0 x 370.0 x 240.0mm (L x W x H). (L is length, the horizontal distance from left to right; H is height, the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from front to back.) The model is suitable for high school or college students, or ages 13 to 21.Science education products incorporate applied math and science principles into classroom and homeschool-based projects. Teachers in pre-K, elementary, and secondary classrooms use science education kits and products alongside science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) curriculum to demonstrate STEM concepts and real-world applications through hands-on activities. Science education projects include a broad range of activities, such as practical experiments in engineering, aeronautics, robotics, energy, chemistry, physics, biology, and geology.EISCO Scientific manufactures and supplies lab equipment for education and industry. The company, founded in 1968 and headquartered in Rochester, NY, meets International Organization of Standardization (ISO) standard 9001: 2000.
