This Eaton Weatherhead 50X4 90-degree flare fitting elbow adapter is suitable for connecting a tube to a pipe at a 90-degree angle in a range of fluid transfer applications. It has 1/8" female National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads on one end and 7/16-20 male Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) threads on the other for use with 1/4" outside diameter (OD) tubes. The fitting is made of CA360 brass for strength and resistance to corrosion, has an operating temperature range of -65 to +250 degrees F (-53 to +121 degrees C), and meets SAE 010203 specifications for tube fittings. This 90-degree flare fitting elbow adapter is suitable for use in lubrication, refrigeration, and hydraulic systems, and in other industrial applications. Tube fittings are components used for connecting, branching, terminating, and changing the direction of tubing in pneumatic and hydraulic systems. They are made of brass, stainless steel, PBT (polybutylene terephthalate), and other materials that resist corrosion and wear.
