Roman Chamomile is an ancient medicinal herb grown for Chamomile tea, a gentle skin tonic, and an aromatic lawn. Easy to grow, and a beneficial groundcover. Roman Chamomile is a cold hardy perennial that will return each year, while German Chamomile is an annual that will grow only once. The flowers of this delightful herb have white petals surrounding a golden center and it is the flowers that are harvested for their beneficial properties. The plant grows between six and 18 inches high with delicate lace-like leaves branching from slender stalks. Zones: 3 - 10 Perennial Water: Low/Moderate Light: Full Sun/Partial Shade Sow in fall or spring by scattering the seeds into finely raked soil or seed tray. Firm down (do not cover).
