About E-Wand Remote Control (E Wand) For Blind
The E-Wand optional multi-channel remote enhances the functionality of the E-Wand by providing a user the ability to customize control over their blinds. The remote has 5 channels and an all-channel, which users can program and reprogram as they see fit. On the remote are several buttons: -Tilt Toggle: a press and release of the top or bottom of the toggle will move the slats to the next of the preset 7 positions. Press and hold the top or bottom of the toggle to move the slats gradually to the exact position desired. -Full Closed Up: A press and release will move the slats to the full closed up position. -Full Open: A press and release will move the slats to the full open position. -Full Closed Down: A press and release will move the slats to the full closed down position. -Favorite: This button comes pre-programmed to move the slats to a position halfway between full closed down and full open, but can be reset by the user to any position desired. -Channel Selector: Allows the user to navigate to different channels. Current channel is reflected on the channel LEDs on the bottom of the remote. The remote control package includes a wall plate and mounting hardware which can be used as an option to provide users with easy access to the remote control. Pairing the Remote: 1) To pair the remote to an E-Wand, press and hold the E-Wand programming button until you hear a single beep, then release the programming button. 2) Use the channel selector to select the desired channel. 3) Use a tack or pen to depress and release the pairing button on the back of the remote once. The LEDs on the front of the remote will scroll to pair. 4) Press and release the top left button (on the tilt toggle) to pair the remote to the E-Wand. The E-Wand will jog to confirm it has been paired successfully.
