About Dualcomm DCP-1004L PCIe Failsae GbE Copper Ethernet
Dualcomm DCP-1004L is a 10/100/1000Base-T Network Tap built as a PCI Express Card, which is purposely designed as a cost-effective packet capturing/sniffing component for use with an off-the-shelf computer to build an integrated appliance for various network monitoring and analysis applications. Model DCP-1004L provides two aggregation monitor ports, each of which outputs a copy of aggregated inline traffic in both directions. DCP-1004L supports power Failsafe Bypass by which the link connectivity will still be maintained when DCP-1004L loses its power. As such, DCP-1004L can be deployed in a critical path in a network. DCP-1004L also supports PoE pass-through between two inline ports. As such, a PoE powered device can still receive power delivered over the shared network cable from its PoE capable link partner
