Since this is a dual-purpose calligraphy holder it can be used as a straight holder. When used as a straight holder it can use most of the nibs previously listed including Speedball Broad Nibs, Mitchell Roundhand Square Nibs, Tachikawa C Nibs, Tape Broad Nibs, and Brause C Nibs. If the nib cannot fit, you can carefully remove the brass flange then adjust it with pliers and put it back if you have the expertise, however, we HIGHLY suggest to return it instead as adjusting can compromise the holder’s functions. This plastic oblique nib holder is light weight, and features a removable multi-fit brass flange and a dual function. We have rebranded to Penmen United and we were previously known as Alpha Pens.
