Aloo Bukhara is the Pakistani, Urdu or Hindi term used for Plums. The Plum is a seasonal fruit belonging to the family of cherries and peaches. There are numerous varieties of plums that are cultivated throughout the world, in colors ranging from red, purple, blue-black, green, yellow, or even amber. Plums or Aloo Bukhara is believed to have originated in Asia and since then, they have been grown all over the world, mainly in Iraq, Iran, Pakistan and India.
