Product Description Today's camera drones provide a unique ability for photographers to capture low altitude aerial perspectives that may never have been seen before. That's because, until now, the view of our earth from under 400 feet was just not possible given traditional aerial photography with manned aircraft. This book will help new drone pilots understand how to take full advantage of today's modern drone camera systems. It will also help existing drone pilots, without a photography background, learn the skills they need to compete in a rapidly growing industry. Review I learned about Justin almost a decade ago and I got to see his photography talent from before when there were drones. Then he picked up these flying cameras and produced wonderful art in 3D space, capturing nature, events and his family from a very different perspective. Over the years I have seen Justin develop his skills, explore new ways and opportunities to create and share art, and along the way inspire others to capture moments, memories and beauty. This book represents not only Justin’s views, but his talent, his unique eye and perspective, and how he is utilizing technology to bring a camera to new heights. Romeo Durscher of DJI -Leading drone manufacturer with over 70% of the market share About the Author A native of San Antonio, Justin pursued professional photography in 1999 and for two decades taught photography in San Antonio through a community education program. After a life-long fascination with aviation, Justin earned his wings as an instrument-rated Private Pilot at historic Stinson Field. In 2014, Justin bought his first drone and quickly saw his two passions merge - the introduction of a small, flying camera system! Since then, Justin's passion for drones (or small UAS - Unmanned Aerial Systems) gave him an opportunity to quickly become an industry expert with speaking engagements at Interdrone, several PPA conventions, national webinars with companies like Drone Deploy & Skyward. He also speaks at many conservation events where his pro bono work to use drones for conservation has provided an opportunity to work with the National Audubon Society and several South Texas nature preserves. Justin worked closely with PPA to develop a photography certification for drone photographers and in April 2017 became the nation's first Certified Drone Photographer.
