Their pain and love for each other was captured beautifully by Sarah Delany and it was so easy to get caught up in their lives. The characters are easy to relate to and I felt I could really feel their emotions in what they were going through in the book.The relationship between Tate and Tamsyn is magnetic and could not get enough of them. I also really loved the bond between all the guys and Tamsyn. I loved how they took in Tamsyn as one of their own so quickly and made her feel comfortable and treated her as a real friend unlike her "ex-friends".Would definitely recommend to anyone who loves a young adult romance that faces obstacles of their own. She is one of eight siblings, has a loving partner and is a stay at home mother to their four young boys. Writing this novel was a therapeutic way for Sarah to deal with the pain and grief she suffered in 2019 after losing her father but also her sister and one of her best friends. She's a New Zealander who currently resides in Brisbane, Australia.
