About Dixon Valve ST35PF Plated Steel Shank/Water
This Dixon ST35PF water fitting is a King combination nipple for connecting two suction or discharge hoses. It is made of plated steel for strength and resistance to corrosion. It has a barbed shank for push-on connection to a hose with a 3" inside diameter (ID) and a 3" National Pipe Taper (NPT) threaded connection on the other end for connecting to a female fitting. The shank is designed for cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) or ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW), where shank retention is an issue. This fitting has a maximum working pressure of 125 pounds per square inch (psi) and is suitable for use in suction or discharge applications.Hose fittings connect, control, change the direction of, and terminate the flow in piping and hose systems.
