This Dixon HB150 fitting is a King nipple for connecting hoses in discharge or suction service. It is made of polypropylene (PP) for resistance to chemicals. It has a barbed shank on one end for connecting a hose with a 1-1/2" inside diameter (ID) and a 1-1/2" male National Pipe Taper (NPT) threaded connection on the other end for connecting to a female fitting. It has a thick wall for strength and durability and has a maximum pressure rating of 150 pounds per square inch (psi). This fitting is not recommended for use with compressed gas, nor aromatic hydrocarbons, carbon tetra-chloride, gasoline, hexane, kerosene, nitric acid, sodium hydrochlorite, toluene, trichloroethylene or xylene. Hose fittings connect, control, change the direction of, and terminate the flow in piping and hose systems.
