About Dixon Valve & Coupling AL456 Brass Fitting, Fixed
This Dixon AL456 brass quick coupling plug has 3/8" female National Pipe Taper (NPT) thread on one end, a 22 mm male thread on the other, and a 1.5 mm inside diameter. It forms a threaded quick coupling when mated with an AL453 swiveling quick coupling (not included). The brass construction provides corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability. This quick coupling plug has a 3,650 pounds per square inch (psi) maximum working pressure, a 7.8 gallons per minute (gpm) maximum flow rate, and a 300 degree F maximum fluid temperature. As part of a swivel connection, this plug is suitable for use in applications such as wash down operations in bottling plants. Hose fittings connect, control, change the direction of, and terminate the flow in piping and hose systems. They are made of brass, stainless steel, galvanized steel, and other materials that resist corrosion, pressure, and wear. Hose fittings have various types of connections, including threaded, barbed, push-to-connect, dry disconnect, and others including those based on internationally-accepted specifications.
