This Dixon HB series reducer is used for connecting or extending pipes going in the same direction. It has male and female National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads for connecting female threaded pipe to male threaded pipe. It is made of malleable iron for high tensile strength. This fitting has a maximum operating pressure of 150 pounds per square inch (psi) and meets American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Class 150 for quality assurance.
