About Detex EAX-500 Surface Mounted Powered Door Or Wall
The Detex Eax-500 is designed for applications that require an alarmed exit device on secured doors. This exit alarm is powered and operated by a 9VDC battery. It will serve to audibly alert authority of unauthorized use of a restricted or emergency exit by sounding a 100db piezo alarm which can only be silenced with the use of a key. The extended bypass feature will allow the alarm to stay bypassed when the door is opened and it will automatically rearm when the door is closed.------- Please note that this alarm does not come with the mortise lock cylinder. You must by it separately.
