The Rice Lake metric precision test weight is constructed of polished stainless steel, meets American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) Class 1 specifications, has a 7.95 density, and is designed for a variety of weighing operations. The weight can be adjusted by attaching other weights to the screw-knob. The weight is constructed of polished stainless steel for stability, resistance to corrosion, and low magnetic susceptibility, and a polished surface highlights wear that can affect weight precision. The set includes a precision test weight, a handling glove, and a protective case.
