Turn the Dials to the factory initial combination 0-0-0-0 (first use) or the current combination (not the first use) at the Password Display Area.(Note: Please check the Password Display Area to make sure your adjustment is correct before going to next step.) 2. Press the Unlock Button and Reset Button together and meanwhile turn the Dials to set your own combination.(Note: 1. Three operations should do together; 2. Use a paper clip or similar tool to press the Reset Button; 3. Reset button is at the bottom of the lock. 4. Make sure your new combination shows correctly in Password Display Area.)3. Release the Buttons. All these done, the lock is ready to open at its new combination. To Lock Your Equipment1. Loop the security cable around a non-moveable object. 2. Press and hold the Release Button, then insert the locking hook into the kensington security slot of your equipment. (If your equipment with no Kensington security slot, you can use the slot on the security cable.) 3. Release the Button and randomly rotate the Dials. Now, your notebook or peripheral is secured.
