About Delta Plus RX500 Full Lens 2.0 Magnification
The RX-500 is a Ballistic Vo rated full lens magnification safety glass. With over 50mm diameter magnifying lens in the center of the glass (the peripheral areas are not magnified), the RX500 magnifies the entire work area. This makes it perfect application for all vocations, including electricians, welders, mechanics, plumbers, assemblers and anyone else who needs to magnify the task at hand. Elvex was the first to introduce the bifocal safety glass design. With the introduction of the RX-500, Elvex is now the first company to introduce a full lens ballistic rated safety glass. This model adds a new level of wrap around protection in a full lens magnification design. When compared to conventional bifocal design, the RX-500 reduces eye strain and fatigue by not having magnification placed at the bottom or top of the eye wear. It increases productivity and aids in visual precision during close work tasks. The soft flexible nose bridge and rubber temples minimizes slippage and provides all day comfort. It fits a variety of facial configurations very well. The RX500 is only available in a clear poly carbonate lens. The +0.05 and +0.75 magnification is ideal when working at greater than normal reading distances like viewing computer terminals, process equipment and shooting sports. It is also available in the standard +1.0,+1.5, +2.0 and +2.5 magnification. The Ballistic Vo Rated lens meets the following Standards: US Military Standard MIL-PRF-31013, ANSI Z87.1-2015 and complies with CE EN-166. That makes the RX500 a smart choice for shooting sports.
