Also Note: You will receive a 100% compatible screen. The exact brand and part number of the screen you will receive is determined by market availability. NOTE: 1. Check the Dell model number. If your DELL model is DELL Inspiron 14Z 5423. If you have DELL XPS 14z or DELL XPS L412Z then you purchased the wrong item, and do not try to install. 2. Check the original screen resolution. This item is HD 1366 x 768 screen, in windows display property, you could see your original screen resolution. If it is not 1366 x 768, then your screen is NOT HD. 3. If your external monitor works and your OLD screen does not work, for example, no video on your OLD screen. Then your system board is most likely bad, not LCD screen because the internal video channel and external video are TWO different channels. We have seen the external monitor still works while the internal are bad, you need to fix other parts not the screen. 4. Make sure you connect the LCD cable connector correctly and firmly, there is no space between the connectors.
